We work to improve the comfort and care of neuro patients on Wards 204 & 205 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the rehab unit at Woodend Hospital. 

Friends of the Neuro Ward works closely with staff to buy the "extras" for patients - ranging from specialist scales and mattresses to even spare clothes or mobile chargers for those who have been rushed to hospital without time to pack. 

In the past we've also refurbished the day room and created a respite space in W205. 

The neuro wards look after patients from right across Grampian, the Highlands and islands with all sorts of conditions, including tumours, Parkinson's, MND, Guillain-Barre Syndrome and spinal injuries so there is always plenty we can help with.
